About Me

Hi, I’m Laurel — and I believe healthy doesn’t have to mean hard.

As a Nutrition Consultant and Holistic Weight Loss Coach with a BSc in Dietetics, I’ve spent years helping others understand the science of food — but it wasn’t until I hit midlife that I truly started applying it to myself in a more sustainable, realistic way.

After my own struggles with weight, energy, and motivation, I discovered a better way—one rooted in sustainable habits, movement I enjoy, and nourishing plant-powered meals. It’s about real foodgentle movement, and small daily habits that support your energy, mood, and long-term health — without guilt or overwhelm. Now I’m passionate about helping other women simplify wellness, feel empowered, and build a healthy lifestyle they love.

I believe movement shouldn’t feel intimidating, time-consuming, or like something you need to “psyche yourself up” for. Real, lasting change comes from the simple things you can do consistently—not the workouts that burn you out.

That’s why I focus on Zone 2 movementJapanese walking intervals, and exercise snacks throughout the day. These are gentle, hormone-friendly ways to build strength, boost energy, support fat loss, and feel good in your body again… even if you’re busy, tired, or starting over.

You won’t find punishing workouts here.
You’ll find simple habits that fit into real life:

  • walking outdoors
  • short bursts of movement while you wait
  • light jogging at a conversational pace
  • strength training for functional, midlife-proof bodies
  • doable routines that lower stress instead of adding to it

Every time you move—even for a minute—your body releases tiny healing messengers called myokines. They lift your mood, reduce inflammation, support metabolism, and help your body age well. That’s why I say: movement is medicine… and it doesn’t have to be complicated.
